Holiday Card Photos! {Rhode Island Photography}
Ho!Ho!Ho! These super siblings braved the cold, and some uncomfortable posing to get some really cute shots for Mom’s holiday card!!!
And Some More Headshots! {Rhode Island Photographer}
It is always fun to photograph a friend – especially when they are gorgeous! When she’s not modeling for me, she is busy with her Discovery Maps business, which currently features some of the best places to visit in Narragansett and Block Island!
‘Tis the Season for…Professional Headshots!
I recently had the opportunity to photograph this team of ladies who work for Remax Town and Country.
The weather was a little chilly, but between the gorgeous location and the beautiful smiles on these gals, we got lots of great shots!!
High School Seniors – Oh Boy! {Senior Photography}
I love photographing high school seniors, and so enjoyed meeting this great kid and his mom!
Family Photo Stress! {Pamela Wyatt Photography}
Well, after 4 years, I think it is time I finally updated my own family photo! I had forgotten how much thought goes into this!! We want a gorgeous image to hang on our wall to capture this magical time in our lives, make us all look ridiculously good and match with our decor! Yikes! Well to start, I got my hair cut – because we all know Mom especially has to like the way she looks in the photos! And I think I have finalized our clothing… choosing a color palette was pretty easy this time around. My daughter has a pretty wine colored dress that I love, so I worked around that.
I also have narrowed down the locations. I would like something more urban this time around, so I was going to use a brick background. I’m not sure if the wine color will stand out enough against the brick, so I will also find a wooded area, ideally with a bit of red foliage in the background! My remote timer arrived in the mail yesterday, so I think we may be almost ready!!! Now all I have to do is convince my husband that it will be fun!!! 😉
Dimes for Downs on the Disney Channel!
I was contacted a short time ago by a wonderful organization called Gifts from the Heart for Downs.
A local boy was going to be included in a Disney Channel segment called Make Your Mark and needed his photo taken. So I had the pleasure of meeting Colby one sunny afternoon and we had our photo session! Colby had worked very hard collecting for the Dimes for Downs fundraiser, and he brought all of the dimes he had collected with him!
As per Disney’s request, we weren’t allowed to talk about the segment until it aired today. But I do have a link to the segment here. The focus of the segment is on another young girl, but if you look closely you will see Colby’s smiling face!
Here are some other photos from our session together! It was so nice for me to meet Colby and I was thrilled to work with Gifts from the Heart for Downs.
Going Digital! {Pamela Wyatt Photography}
I have not been keen to promote digital files in the past. I almost feel as if these images are my children, and I wanted to have total control over them! I put a lot of time into finding the best professional photo lab that has exceptional quality, so I would know that the final product that you hang on your wall is the best it can be! With that being said, I absolutely see the value of being able to own the digital file. When you purchase digital files, not only do you own your priceless memories, you also have unlimited printing and sharing options. Print 5×7’s for the grandparents, an 8×10 for Dad’s desk, showcase them in your digital frame at home and finally have that gorgeous canvas made to hang above the fireplace! I do get it – and if you don’t mind my giving some guidance as to the best commercial printing labs, I think I may be able to relinquish some control!
I do not recommend any of the pharmacy chains, box stores or other retail chains. Snapfish has inconsistent and lower quality items. Shutterfly has better quality and some unique products. MPix is your best bet for excellent quality prints and wall displays and they are owned by Millers Professional Labs.
I will not be making my own cards this year and will instead be directing you to the hundreds of cute online holiday card styles at Tiny Prints and Minted These are my absolute favorites – and where I drew design inspiration from to make my own cards.
So I have expanded my digital file offerings and now offer some packages as well. Click here to see my updated pricing info! Reserve your session soon, fall weekends are filling up quickly!!!
